ONPACKING

Specification-led quality control

How Your Packaging Specification Is Checked

Dimensions, thickness, construction, seals, rolls, appearance and packing are reviewed against the approved order requirements.

Production controls

Four checkpoints from specification to release

The final control plan follows the approved product and order. No universal sampling frequency or AQL level is assumed here.

  1. 01

    Specification release

    • Measurement convention and finished dimensions
    • Material and thickness
    • Bag or roll construction
    • Packing and labeling
  2. 02

    In-process checks

    • Film width and visible condition
    • Thickness sampling when specified
    • Print, perforation or winding settings
    • In-process deviations
  3. 03

    Construction checks

    • Seal position and condition
    • Gusset or square construction
    • Perforation and opening
    • Elastic, adhesive or fabricated details
  4. 04

    Finished-lot release

    • Finished dimensions
    • Visual condition
    • Quantity and pack count
    • Labels and required records

What is checked, recorded and applied

Methods shown are practical examples. The approved specification determines which checkpoints and tolerances apply to the order.

Evidence boundaries

See what each record can actually support

Public evidence is kept close to its source and purpose. A photo, sample COA or certificate is not treated as proof of unrelated results.

Roll and Core Configuration

What it shows
The paper core and finished roll configuration can be reviewed on site and compared with the order requirement.
What it does not show
Universal core dimensions, roll consistency, film thickness or roll weight.

Buyer questions

Quality and compliance FAQ

Is the displayed COA a general product guarantee?

No. It is one sanitized example showing how selected specification fields and observed results can be recorded. The applicable control plan, tolerance and release record are confirmed for each product and order.

Can the QC plan be adjusted for a buyer’s inspection requirement?

Yes, when the requirement is defined before quotation and production approval. Share the critical dimensions, tolerance, test method, sampling expectation and documents you need so feasibility can be reviewed.

Which inspection fields should be confirmed before quotation?

Confirm the measurement convention, critical dimensions and tolerances, thickness target, construction details, visual criteria, packing method and any buyer-specific record format. Roll, perforation, print and labeling fields should be added when relevant.

Which controlled documents can be requested?

Buyers can request a product specification, a relevant sanitized inspection example and the current controlled certificate document. Availability is checked against the requested product before release.
